Frequently Asked Questions
Important points about the published starting fees.
Is €250 the final fee for every EU applicant?
No. It is the starting professional fee for a standard EU/EEA case with complete documents and a normal identification route. The fee is confirmed after file review.
Why does a non-EU AFM application start from €350?
Third-country files may require additional review of passport data, legalisation, Apostille, official translation and authorisation requirements.
Does the fee include VAT?
The displayed professional fees are stated plus VAT where VAT is applicable to the engagement.
Are Apostille and translation costs included?
No. Third-party translation, Apostille, legalisation, notarial, certification and courier charges are separate unless expressly included in the written offer.
Is a tax representative included?
The initial review of representation needs may be included, but appointment and annual tax representative services are separate unless agreed in writing.
Are TAXIS credentials included with the AFM?
Yes. The AFM registration service includes the TAXIS credential process. There is no separate AFM plus TAXIS pricing package.
